Stand Against Abortion

You never know what impact the life you could have brought into this world may have had.

Those that argue in favor of abortion (many hide under the less obvious label of "pro-choice") will debate their view with opponents claiming reasons of rape an health of the fetus or mother. Studies have shown that as much as 98% of the reasons actually boil down to one main reason: inconvenience.

Please Don't Kill Us

There are many reasons why pro-choice advocates argue in favor of abortion. One line of reasoning offered is, "you're not weighing how this affects the pregnant woman." Too bad they can't have that argument with the ones most affected by an abortion - the "abort-ees"…the lives that never got a chance to argue - the aborted babies. It's a shame they can't, because they already killed the lives of the ones who could make the best case against them. Well, I'm an example of the next best thing. A life that could have been aborted! And I have finally realized that telling my story may have value in convincing those who are contemplating an abortion to change their minds.

I was the product of a successful attorney and his secretary on a passionate summer night. My biological mother had planned to give birth to me and raise me. This must have been a shockingly brave thing to do in 1959. My biological mother interviewed my eventual foster mother, to care for me during the day while she went back to work. Three days after I was born, she changed her mind, ask asked my eventual foster mother, "Do you want him?" This foster mother is the one I refer to simply as "my mother" because she's the one who change my messy diapers and raised me - the one who truly loved me.

Three days after I was born. What if my biological mother had come to that decision three days before I was born? Or three weeks before…three months before? I certainly wouldn't be writing this today! I am grateful to God for my life, and I welcome anyone with a similar story to contact me via a website I have set up: StandAgainstAbortion.com. I'll also debate those who disagree with my view. If you choose abortion, you will never know what impact the life you could have brought into this world may have had.

If you don't want the child, put the baby up for adoption, but please don't kill us!

My name is Paul Montenero, and I started this site to help convince people NOT to terminate a life through abortion. If you have a similar story, or want to ask me a question, please email me at info@standagainstabortion.org.
